Some quilts just need that special touch.
This is quilted as border following border following border. Really a fun quilt. My granddaughter was able to make one of her own - and quilt it too!
This is a baby quilt for my niece's first baby.
My Marine son needed a quilt I decided, this is what he received.
A close up of the quilting on the back. The backing is flannel
I’ve wanted a red and white quilt for some time. Finally found the pattern that I liked. Almost looks like an Irish Chain - oh for another day and another color way
This one was a bit monotonous to quilt, but love the way it turned out
I was contacted by a woman whose mother had passed a couple years ago. She had sewing machines and a couple tubs of material. I couldn’t let her off without a quilted ‘hug’ from her Mother
Very similar to the baby pathways quilt, but I think I used a few different patterns.
My other niece was in anatomy class and we found this glow in the dark panel. Quite fun!
One of my clients was in a BOM. She decided to put her quilt top together in a different manner and I just couldn’t do an E2E on this one
Have a friend of the family that’s been around since I was 3. He recently moved to a nursing home and I wanted him to have a quilt of his alma mater.
I seem to really like Modern pieced quilts!
I had my long arm for about 10 months before the International Dubai Quilt show came along. (I was living in Abu Dhabi at the time). My LQS owner encouraged me to 'try something you have never done before' and enter it in the show I got some Marti Michele templates, a fat quarter and went to work.
I WON! Second place in the Beginner's Category.
When I bought my longarm, I needed victims! The first was my granddaughter, she picked the pattern, I pieced and quilted. I have sewn for many years, had never pieced quilts. Oh the changes that had to be made.
This reminds me of tissue boxes, so this is a Tissue for Anna's issues
My Grandson picked this pattern, really worked to get this custom quilted to the style I wanted. That was before I knew what skew meant...
I fell in love with this jelly roll and had to find a pattern for it.
I had returned to the States to visit my parents, while here I had to find things to do, so of course I visited the Local Quilt Store. I decided on this quick piece so that I could finish it while home. I added the piano key border after returning to Abu Dhabi before quilting it.
My youngest son was whining that everybody but him got a quilt so this was his. King size! I think he's spoiled
My husband picked the pattern and the colors for this king size quilt. It is at home on our bed.
I wanted to piece some circles since I hadn't yet done that. Then I found the black and white fabric that would work well as a color book. I decided to create both into the coloring quilt.
I colored in a little bit of the quilt with sharpies before giving this to my niece to color more on.
I had been really drawn to this pattern, then started seeing it everywhere! I did mine two-toned thinking I would enter it in a quilt show. As I was quilting it, I found the mistake that I could not fix at that time. Since I knew this quilt would now be a couch quilt, I practiced with some free arm and my 1 inch foot. Lots of learning! I even put minky on the back to make it just that much warmer - which was another first for me.
My Father passed away in May, I made this to visually remember him.
A friend from church was admitted to a nursing home. She wears many black, white and red outfits. I made this to brighten her days
Some friends of my parents (and me from when I was 2) are such a blessing to me that I opted to return the favor.
My first mystery quilt! Only had to change one color when it was finished!
Going for a two tone quilt here. It has a warm backing for a great lap quilt
My great nephew is continually needing boundaries - hopefully he can stay within these lines, lol
These tops were hand pieced by my Step Mother's Aunt. My StepMother found them in her chest, asked me to quilt them and donate them. We donated them to our local Guild for their silent auction to be held this coming Labor Day Show.

Traditional style quilts are quite varied. One that I have on my quilting bucket list is the Double Wedding Ring. Now to find the time.
This was pieced and quilted for the wedding of a friend's daughter. The quilting is written out as the Bride and Groom names with their wedding date.
My youngest son wanted a quilt. Saw this one on Pinterest, picked out the colors. Relatively easy pattern as it is a half log cabin. He wanted fleece on the back so it would be nice and warm!
Just showing the traditional design of this quilt. Traditional design., modern looking
I have a Bernina 880 that I use to embroider with. Oh the learning curve that came with that!
This was commissioned from a picture of another quilt. I spent quite a bit of time with my machine learning, learning. Sometimes it is an uphill battle to fight the learning curve, but it turned out gorgous.
Just showing the back of this quilt
Life is meant to be fun!
My husband said everything was quilted in the house - this was his birthday present one year.
A baby quilt, commissioned while in Abu Dhabi. Found the camel then worked on getting the rest of the pieces quilted. A friend had an embroidery machine so she did the embroidery. Grandma loved the outcome.
Just for fun
My daughter in law loves owls, I found some flannel fat quarters that had owls on them, so she got a lap quilt of owls
How can you not make this once you've seen the pattern? Hangs in my kitchen (because there's no room in my quilt room)
A fun quilt for my granddaughter. She is such a sweet girl, lives near the beach
For another granddaughter. She likes the fashion. Quite the work with the raw edge applique.
After this was posted to FaceBook, I was commissioned to make another for a Christmas present.
My great niece has this one. It was a kit, I had never bought a kit before - what a treat to not have to cut all those pieces!
Of course the quilting is in hearts too.
This is a flannel pieced star, the backing is a suede looking polyester. Quite warm!
Can you find the ruffled feather?
Just some wall hangings and card playing mats
We played cards often in Abu Dhabi. My husband 'needed' a mat to play cards on. This one belongs to our friends.
Using up some of the scraps, I made this card mat for the other couple that we played with. Hadn't tried the Quilt As You Go method, so now I have
A Borgello type of flag quilt. Another quickie on one of my trips back to my parents house. It hangs over their front door.
This is 4 panels, layered on top of each other, then sewn every 1/4 inch, then using the chinelle cutter between the sewn lines. Great effect!
A play mat for a new baby. A few tactile pieces sewn in to add a bit of fun for Ms Casi
One of our golf pros was having a baby, so they got one of the baby mats too.
A panel that I did some free motion and couching on to provide a bit of bling.
I have an assortment of chickens on the ranch. Saw this and decided I needed it!
This is done on the 1” interfacing. Just iron in place and sew together! Points all match up.
I have a few of the customer quilts that have been either pieced or quilted or both. Most of the time I don't get a picture of their quilt, but occasionally I am able to.
This was pieced and quilted by me for a long time friend. She had just moved into a home that they had been remodeling and she wanted some color in her room. She got it!
A little embroidery embellishment to go along with the chicks.
One of my first customer quilts for her grandson. Applique, embroidery, quilting.

Done for a wedding couple, their names and date of wedding are the quilting
This is a raw edge applique that was brought to me, we added toulle to it and then quilted it with a verigated thread.
This is one of the three quilts that were made while overseas. I quilted them all for the guild
two of three
three of three
This is a family memory quilt. Grandma brought me all the pictures, I designed the pattern, then pieced and quilted it for a Christmas present to her son and his family.

. Panels are a quick and easy way to start a quilt. Adding to it creates an easy and fun way to have a cute quilt..
I added some bling with glitter thread in areas
This panel was added to with color borders and a braided border as well. The quilting followed the panel print
My 6 year old granddaughter finally got her own room so she needed instructions printed on her wall. The quilting is crowns, hearts and princess wands
